Pasadena Transit Campaign

We received support from the California Arts Council and the City of Pasadena to create bus posters with multilingual quotes to engage riders who are often immigrants. In an effort to share Bi-Lingering with Pasadena residents, we partnered with Side Street Projects and the Pasadena Transit office to install posters with intimate quotes written in English, Spanish, and “Pinglish” (Persian and English) from letter submissions. They were on display on all Pasadena buses in July 2021. The Bus Campaign ran through the month of July in an effort to engage riders in the experience of being a Bi-Lingerer, and to inspire individuals to share their stories as others already have.
